Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels have risen in response to heavy rainfall overnight. Flooding is expected.

Areas most at risk are Millholm Rise and Simpson Road in Simpson, Walton Hall, Mill Lane in Woolstone, Woodall Close, Powell Haven, Bereville Court and Savage Croft in Middleton and Milton Road in Willen.

Further rainfall is forecast overnight and into tomorrow morning, which will keep river levels high. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.

We are monitoring the situation and will update this message by 5pm today, 27/09/2024.
