Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising on the Pinn due to heavy rainfall.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Pinn, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Brunel University, Church Road, Cowley, and Peachey Business Park.
Flooding is expected from 2.30pm today on Saturday 2nd March.
This afternoon will be mainly dry, with river levels starting to fall slowly from around 5pm.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area.
Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your surroundings.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
This message will be updated by 7pm this evening, or as the situation changes.
