Flood warning

River levels have risen at the Selly Park river gauge as a result of localised thunderstorms. Consequently, flooding (of property) is imminent.
Thunderstorms are forecast over the next 4 hours. River levels may continue to rise this evening Saturday 8 July 2023, Please note we do not have a forecast for this gauge so cannot give a better timescale.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and move family, pets, possessions, valuables and cars to safety. follow advice from emergency services
