River levels are rising at the Newnham Bridge river gauge as a result of Storm Bert. Consequently, flooding of property is imminent.
We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Newnham Bridge.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.
We are closely monitoring the situation
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid contact with flood water.
