Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels rose at the Otterburn Mill river gauge on Saturday evening 10/08/2019 as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. River levels are now falling and are expected to continue falling throughout Sunday morning 11/08/2019. Areas most at risk are Properties around Otterburn Bridge, Mill House and Brownchesters, in Otterburn. As well as, White Acre, the Close, Bridge End, Brae Well Close and Redeside in West Woodburn and Redesmouth Mill in Redesmouth. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated on Sunday afternoon, 11/08/2019, at 1pm or as the situation changes.
