Flood alert

High river levels today may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible on 27 January 2026 . 
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads around the River Riccal and it's tributaries including Bonfield Gill, Bogmire Gill, Ellerker Beck, Keld Spring Beck, Walmouth Beck, including properties to the West of Mill Street in Harome and properties along Howldale Land in Beadlam. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
