Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are high and rising at the Blyth river gauge as a result of Storm HENK. Consequently, flooding is expected to continue through today, 03/01/2024 into tomorrow, 04/01/2024. Areas most at risk are Scrooby, including Serlby. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and follow advice from emergency services. This message will be updated by 13:00 this afternoon, 03/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
