Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Crew Green river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected. We expect flooding to affect properties in the Pentre area. The Pentre to Melverley Road near Royal Hill is flooded. Predicted Peak at Crew Green 6.3m to 6.5m Sunday morning, 08/12/24.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We expect river levels to remain high for several days.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and move possession and valuables off the ground or to safety.
