River levels are high but falling slowly at the Bridgnorth river gauge. Flooding of property, roads and farmland continues. Flooding is affecting properties and roads in and around Sutton Wharf. The Bridgnorth gauge peaked at 5.04m on Tuesday night 18/02/20. Scattered showers are expected today with further prolonged rainfall forecast this afternoon and overnight 19/02/20. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services. Please avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated by 8pm on Wednesday 19/02/20, or as the situation changes.
