The severe flood warning is no longer in force. However, river levels remain high and a large amount of water remains on the flood plain. Low lying land and roads may still be affected.
The level at the Saxons Lode river gauge is falling slowly, but levels remain high against the Uckinghall flood defence.
Please remain vigilant. Further rainfall is forecast over the next few days which may keep river levels elevated, though we do not expect them to rise significantly.
Please follow advice from emergency services.
