Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Bridgnorth river gauge as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected to continue. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Upper Arley.
Predicted Peak: Bridgnorth 4.9m to 5.1m on Friday morning, 05/01/24.
Some showers are forecast on Friday & Saturday, but no further significant rainfall is expected. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated by 11am Friday morning, 05/01/24, or as the situation changes.
