River levels have started to fall but still remain high. Flooding may still affect Priestley Street, Duchess Street, Sheaf Gardens, Heeley Bridge, East Bank Road, Queens Road, Cream Street, Store Street, Charlotte Road, Edmund Street, Manton Street, and St. Mary’s Road. Further rainfall is expected throughout the night, continue to take care on waterside roads and paths. Our incident rooms are open, and we are closely monitoring the situation. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. This message will be updated by 09:10, 21/10/2023, or as the situation changes.
