Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high, but are beginning to fall at the Pillings Lock river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Areas most at risk are Cotes, Loughborough Moors and Quorn, including the B675 Quorn to Barrow Upon Soar road.
No significant rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. We expect river levels to remain high throughout today, 07/01/25, but continue to fall over the next 48 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area.
Please seek specialist advice before cleaning or repairing after flood damage, avoid contact with flood water and avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses.
