Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are high at the Kegworth river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Areas most at risk are Moor Lane in Normanton on Soar, Pasture Lane, Hathern Primary School, Hathern Sports Ground.
Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24hrs.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area.
Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. To check the status of road closures online, please visit the One Network live map.
