Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels remain high at the Kegworth river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected to continue over this weekend. Areas most at risk are Redhill, and Kegworth Bridge. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until early next week. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water. Avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated by 07:00 tomorrow morning, 11/02/24, or as the situation changes.
