Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels remain high throughout Friday 16 January 2026 and into Saturday. This may lead to flooding, with low lying land and roads near rivers most affected. Property flooding is not expected. We are closely monitoring the situation and checking river and rainfall levels. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 16:00PM on Saturday 17 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
