Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Shipston river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall and snowmelt. Consequently, flooding of property is possible although not expected on Monday morning. We expect the peak to be at 3m at 08:15 Monday.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 5 hours so we expect levels to remain high throughout Monday morning.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please avoid contact with flood water and activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers. Call 999 if in immediate danger.
This message will be updated by 12:00 on 06/01/25, or as the situation changes.
