Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen at the Stourbridge river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is possible today, Monday 04/12/23. Flooding may affect properties around Prestwood, Bells Mill, Rushall Close, Morrow Way, Bradley Road, Canal Street and Mill Race Lane
Further rainfall is forecast throughout the rest of the day and as a result we expect river levels to remain high.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please call 999 if in immediate danger and avoid contact with flood water.
This message will be updated by 17:00 today, or as the situation changes.
