Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen at the Stourton river gauge as a result of Storm Dennis. Consequently, flooding of property and farmland is expected. Flooding is affecting properties and roads in the Wolverley area.
Predicted peak at Stourton river gauge is 3.2 to 3.5m on Sunday afternoon 16/02/20.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours as a result of Storm Dennis. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please avoid contact with flood water.
