Flood warning

River levels are rising at the Hoar Cross gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property and roads possible today Thursday 22/02/24. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the Wood Lane Bridge Farm, Stair Bridge, Main Street and Bond End areas.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please avoid contact with flood water and call 999 if in immediate danger.
This message will be updated tomorrow Friday, 23/02/24 or as the situation changes.
