Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Churchover river gauge as a result of persistent rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is possible overnight. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the Brownsover Road, Swift Park and Leicester Road Retail Park areas.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We expect river levels to rise until tomorrow morning.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please call 999 if in immediate danger and activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers.
This message will be updated by 09:00 on 02/10/24, or as the situation changes.
