Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood Warning

River levels are continuing to rise at the Hopwas Bridge river gauge as a result of Storm Dennis. Consequently the risk of flooding remains. Flooding is affecting properties around Old Hall Drive, Church Road, Brickhouse Lane, The Garden, The Square and The Beck. Further unsettled weather is forecast for the rest of the week. We expect river levels to continue rising and then start to fall later today. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast and clearing weed screens. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers. This message will be updated later today Monday 17/02/20, or as the situation changes.
