Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are continuing to rise on the River Tame as a result of the heavy rainfall yesterday (Sunday 27 May). Flooding to roads and properties from surface water is likely as well as significant patches of standing water. Flooding from the River Tame is likely in areas surrounding Witton and Salford Park area. Please remain vigilant and monitor your local weather conditions. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and liaising with our professional partners. We will issue Updates, Flood Alerts and further Flood Warnings if necessary. You can monitor your local river levels on the GOV.UK website.
