Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen at the Brookvale Road river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall during today (23/10/2022). Consequently, flooding of property and roads is possible between 17:00 and 22:00 today, 23/10/2022.
We expect river levels to remain high this evening and into tomorrow morning, 24/10/2022.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast and clearing weed screens.
Please move family, pets, possessions, valuables and cars to safety and activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers.
This message will be updated this evening, 23/10/2022, or as the situation changes.
