Flood alert

Heavy rain has fallen through Thursday 15 January. River levels remain high leading to flooding of low lying land roads near rivers in and around Collier Street. There is no significant rainfall in the forecast. We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Please do not drive through floodwater as bow waves may affect properties. This message will be updated by 10:00am on 17 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
