Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels remain high at the Tenbury river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected today, 24/11/24 into Monday 25/11/24. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads at Tenbury Wells and Burford including the A4112 Market Street and Teme Street in Tenbury Wells.

Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.

Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety.

This message will be updated by 09:00 on Monday 25/11/24, or as the situation changes.
