Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Property flooding is expected. River levels are high but stabilising on the River Thames as a result of heavy rainfall and water moving downstream. Flooding of property and roads is expected to continue today, 07/01/2024, especially on the High Street at Streatley. Today and tomorrow are forecast to be mainly dry with a chance of wintry showers. River levels are expected to stabilise and begin slowly falling over the next couple of days but levels will remain high as water moves downstream. We are monitoring the situation. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 08/01/24, or as the situation changes.
