Flood warning

Property flooding remains possible. River levels are high but falling slowly on the River Thames following heavy rainfall and water moving downstream. Flooding of property and roads remains possible today, 10/01/2024, especially on the High Street at Streatley. The forecast this evening and into tomorrow (11/01/24) is dry. We expect river levels to remain high as water moves downstream, but levels will continue to gradually fall over the coming days. We are monitoring the situation. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Be aware of flood water that may remain on the floodplain as river levels recede. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Be aware of flooded roads, do not drive through floodwater. This message will be updated by midday tomorrow, or before if the situation changes.
