Property flooding is expected. River levels remain high on the River Thames. High tides are causing small rises in levels. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected to continue, especially in the Thames Ditton Island area. It is forecast to be mostly dry today, 8 January 2024, and into tomorrow, with the possibility of some light, wintry showers. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days as water moves through the system.
Our staff are liaising with councils and emergency services. Move possessions and valuables off the ground to safety. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Avoid contact with flood water.
