Flood alert

River levels remain high on the River Thames. Flooding of low lying land is expected to continue, especially from the Maidenhead to Windsor and Eton area. It is forecast to be mostly dry today, 8 January 2024, and into tomorrow, with the possibility of some light, wintry showers. We expect river levels to remain high over the coming days as water moves through the system.

A Flood Warning remains in force for properties closest to the River Thames in Maidenhead, Windsor and Eton.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and refer to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.
