Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels remain high after recent rainfall. Flooding is possible on 28th February 2026. Areas most at risk are around the River Tove between Towcester to Cosgrove, including Silverstone Brook and the Stoke Bruerne Marina. Move cars out of this flood risk area. We are not expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 5:00pm on Saturday 28th February 2026 or as the situation changes.
