Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are high but falling at the Farndon river gauge as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of property flooding remains. Areas most at risk are Farndon, including Wyke Lane, Marsh Lane, Farndon Road and Dorner Avenue.
No further significant rainfall is forecast. We expect river levels to remain high until Friday afternoon, 10/01/25. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water.
