Flood warning

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight. 
Flooding is expected from the early hours of 09 February 2026 . 
Areas most at risk are North End, Dorner Avenue, Farndon Road, Deevon Farm Close, Fosse Road, Old Hall Close and Wyke Lane. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Colwick Gauge will remain high until midday tomorrow on 09/02/26. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one .& move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. 
This message will be updated by 9:00AM on 09 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
