River levels are slowly falling at the Great Haywood river gauge, however, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible today, Thursday 04/01/2024 and tomorrow morning, Friday 05/01/2024. No further rainfall is forecast, although river levels will remain high until tomorrow morning, Friday 05/01/2024. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers. Avoid contact with flood water and call 999 if in immediate danger. This message will be updated tomorrow, Friday 05/01/2024 or as the situation changes.
