Flood warning

The risk of flooding continues. Areas most at risk are Warren Lane and Tamworth Road. Sawley Marina including Sawley Lock, and the B6540 Tamworth Road at Sawley is also at risk. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Shardlow + Church Wilne Gauge are slowly falling. Levels are likely to remain high until Wednesday 11/02/2026. We are closely monitoring the situation. Activate any flood protection products you may have & move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. This message will be updated by 11:00 PM on 09 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
