The risk of flooding remains. Areas most at risk are Derby Road, Trentside, Church Lane, Trent Lane and Woodshop Lane. Swarkestone, including Swarkestone Access Frontage, Stanton by Bridge, and Kings Newton are also at risk. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Shardlow Gauge are beginning to fall. Levels will remain high until Wednesday 11/02/2026. We are closely monitoring the situation. Activate any flood protection products you may have & move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. This message will be updated by 03:00 PM on 11 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
