Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding from early hours of 08 February 2026. Areas most at risk are Repton Road, Churchside, Tailby Drive, Bargate Lane, Tanners Lane and Bittern View. Repton and Ingleby areas including Meadows Farm, and the Water Works, the Sports Ground off Willington Road, and areas around the B5008 in Willington is also at risk. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Willington Gauge will rise until Monday 09/02/2026. Levels will remain high until Wednesday 11/02/2026.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Activate any flood protection products you may have & move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety.
