River levels are high on the River Wansbeck due to heavy rainfall.
Areas most at risk include Properties and low lying areas at East Mill, Wansbeck Street and the Riverside Leisure Centre at Morpeth.
Our incident rooms are open and we are closely monitoring the situation.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. Consider putting your flood plan into action
