River levels remain high following heavy overnight rain and further flooding can be expected. Flooding is expected on 27 January 2026. Areas most at risk include River Wey from Upwey to Weymouth including Church Street, Little Mead, Nottington Lane, Nottington Farm and Almas Palace. Heavy overnight rain has caused high river levels. Further heavy showers are forecast through the day Tuesday 27 January. We are closely monitoring the situation . Start acting on your flood plan if you have one activate any flood protection products you may have. This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 28 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
