Flood warning

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening. 
Flooding is expected on 18 February 2026 and into the morning of the 19th February 2026. 
Recent rainfall is casuing rivers to rise. Areas most at risk include River Wey from Upwey to Weymouth including Church Street, Little Mead, Nottington Lane, Nottington Farm and Almas Palace. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . 
This message will be updated by 6:30PM on 19 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
