Flooding expected. Take action now.
This flood warning has been issued as river levels are rising as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of property, roads and land in Bolton Bridge is expected overnight and into tomorrow, Sunday 21/09/25.
Areas most at risk include properties on both banks of the river including Red Lion Farm, Forge Cafe, Devonshire Cottages, The Devonshire Arms, Railway Cottages and properties near Beamsley Bridge.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions and consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
