Flooding expected. Take action now.
A flood warning has been issued for the River Wharfe at Bolton Bridge. River levels are rising quickly. Areas most at risk include Properties on both banks of the river including Red Lion Farm, Forge Cafe, Devonshire Cottages, The Devonshire Arms, Railway Cottages and properties near Beamsley Bridge. Further rainfall is expected for the rest of Sunday 20/02/2022 and into tomorrow Monday 21/02/2022. We are monitoring river levels closely. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. Plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Visit the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast. This message will be updated this afternoon.
