Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are elevated, so flooding is still expected. Areas most at risk are Thrussington Mill, including Station Road, and isolated properties on Brooksby Road and Hoby Road. No further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at the Frisby on the Wreake Gauge are now stabilising and generally steady but still high. Continue to take care on waterside roads and footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. We are closely monitoring the situation. This message will be updated by 22:00 on 2 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
