Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are rising quickly on the River Wye in Bourne End and Hedsor following recent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is possible today 26/02/2025 in those areas. The levels in the Hughenden area are now stable. The weather forecast for the rest of today is for showers. We expect river levels in the Bourne End area to continue to rise for the next few hours then fall quickly. We are monitoring the situation. Avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated Thursday morning, 27/02/25, or as the situation changes.
