Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

This is a flood alert update. River levels remain high due to the recent rainfall and the high ground water levels. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Wylye, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around tributaries between Norton Ferris and Wilton. We will see a drier spell for the next couple of days until Thursday the 26th February when further rain is currently forecast. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. People in this area should continue to monitor local water levels and weather conditions. This message will be updated by 10:00 AM on 25 February 2026 or as the situation change
