Flooding expected. Take action now.
Due to ongoing heavy rain, high river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is expected from 7:15 PM on 31/12/2024.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Wyre, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the area to the north of the River Wyre downstream of Ainspool covering properties on Tarnacre Lane and Ainspool Lane.
We are closely monitoring the situation and monitoring rainfall and river levels.
Activate any property flood protection products you may have.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
Please do not drive through floodwater as bow waves may affect adjacent properties.
