Flooding possible. Be prepared.
The River Yeo level at Huish Episcopi is 8.09m and is slowly falling. The drain level at Huish Episcopi is 7.12m and is falling. Flooding may still be affecting the Langport to Muchelney road but the Muchelney to Long Load road, the Muchelney to Thorney road and the Muchelney to Drayton road remain unaffected. No property flooding is expected. For the latest river and drain levels refer to https://check-for-flooding.service.gov.uk/river-and-sea-levels. We continue to operate the pumps at Huish Episcopi and West Sedgemoor pumping stations when river levels allow. A dry day is forecast for Saturday and some isolated showers on Sunday and Monday. We are monitoring the situation closely. Please avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 1pm on 15 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
