Flood alert

High river levels this evening may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible from the evening of 16 February 2026. River levels remain high following the recent rainfall.

Areas most at risk are low lying roads and riverside areas on the Deben from Debenham to Ufford, including Framsden, Earl Soham, Easton, Glevering and Wickham Market, and on the Rivers Lark and Fynn around Witnesham, Tuddenham St Martin, Playford and Grundisburgh. We are not expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels.

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.

This message will be updated by 10am on Tuesday 17 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
