Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels remain high throughout the day following yesterday rainfall. Flooding is possible on Friday 6 February 2026 throughout the day. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads close to the Eden around Lingfield, Edenbridge and Hever. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 18:00 on 6 February 2026, or as the situation changes.
