Flood Alert

River levels have risen at the Chalford river gauge as a result of recent rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is expected to continue. Flooding is affecting low lying land and roads adjacent the river from Elmore to Sharpness. Other locations that may be affected include Chalford, Leonard Stanley and Cambridge. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next few days, we expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 6am on Sunday 17/11/19, or as the situation changes.
